But before you even realize it, his face will begin to fill out, her beautiful fingers and toes will grow, you won't be able to hold him in one hand curled right up under your chin as you kiss his little hair swirls. Those perfect tiny features -- and the incredible, breathtaking miracle of them -- will be all but a blur, leaving you to wonder where the time ran off to.
You get one chance at this mama, one small window to capture and preserve all these details that fill your heart to overflowing, what they look like, what they feel like...
Just this one chance to bottle it all up beautifully, so you can revisit it whenever you want to, for a lifetime.

Your Newborn Portrait Experience

Before Your Newborn Photography Session:
A newborn session really is a once in a lifetime experience: there is no going back to photograph the first few days of your newborn baby's life. Add to that the story of how you arrived at this miraculous moment. That's why I make sure this will be an incredible experience for you all, one that will do justice to all the layers of emotion and meaning underneath and will ultimately be just as special to you as the final breathtaking portraits themselves.
HOW IT WORKS:
Planning & Design Session: Where we talk about what your dream newborn portraits look and feel like, how you will want to enjoy them in print, and where in your home you might want to display your statement artwork.
I make sure we capture images during your session that will look amazing in the desired space in your home.
Styling & Wardrobe Guidance: The clothes you wear in your portraits are a crucial element in creating the look and feel of your images: the wrong styles, colors or textures can stand out and ruin the vibe of an otherwise fantastic portrait, but the right ones can elevate your images to art status.
No worries though, because I take all the pressure off of your shoulders by guiding your clothing choices step-by-step.
For newborns and older siblings up to about age 5, I have a lovingly curated collection of outfits and accessories specially designed to photograph beautifully.
For Mom and Dad, we'll develop a color and texture palette together and then I will help you choose the perfect pieces, whether from your own closet or, if you'd like, a special purchase, to bring our artistic vision to life.
During Your Newborn Portrait Session:
Keeping your little one safe and relaxed

Your newborn baby cannot talk, but they perceive the energy and environment around them.
This is why on the day of your session the entire studio will be ready for you, warm and cozy like a home away from home.
If you prefer however, your session can also take place in the comfort of your own home, and I will bring my studio to you.
As we photograph your little one we will use a baby-led workflow to ensure we can capture some gorgeous images while baby stays safe and fully relaxed.
HOW IT WORKS:
Baby, parents and siblings are included in every newborn portrait session.
Grandparents are also warmly welcomed and even encouraged to participate for incredible multi-generational legacy portraits.
Location: Choose whether your session will take place in my fully-equipped, comfortable portrait studio or in your home.
Either way, I have everything we need for your baby - and for your comfort and convenience during your session.
Safety training, gentle touch and patience in abundance because your newborn's safety and comfort comes before everything else.
I have been called a Baby Whisperer more times than I can count, and it's absolutely true because I am completely attuned to your baby's cues, I meet their needs first and work around them.

After Your Newborn Photography Session:
Your Gallery Reveal
At the end of your session we will book you in for your gallery reveal appointment, where you will get to view your stunning gallery of gorgeous images and choose which package and products suit you best.
Of course, throughout the entire process I will be at your side to offer guidance and design custom artwork that perfectly fits within the decor of your home.
HOW IT WORKS:
Viewing and Ordering Appointment: So you can choose the images and artwork that you absolutely love. When we do it this way, I need to make sure that I totally knock your socks off with every single image!
I use specialized software to design art mockups so you can see how your images and artwork options will look on your very own walls, and choose the perfect art pieces and the right sizing for your space.
Post-Processing: Artistic editing and master hand retouching of your chosen images to turn each one into a work of art.
I prepare each image for print, order your albums, keepsake boxes and wall art, inspect them for quality, and safely hand-deliver them to you.
